Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who is leaving a mark on the screen. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother from Columbus Ohio. Soon after, she moved to Texas to pursue her master's degree in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in local independent films, as well as worldwide commercials. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering that she loved acting. After moving from New York, in 2001 she landed her first part as a performer on All My Children. Her roles were sporadic on JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. Her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain had the privilege of appearing alongside a number of the notable TV stars, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. She played A.D.A. on Law & Order in 2006. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Later, she starred in the Law & Order: LA film, a short-lived sequel. De La Garza's character received several nominations for the show, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she won one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor on CSI Miami. She was Marisol Delko and wife to David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. The most recent television appearance was in NBC's dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. After two episodes the series ended up being cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is from Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is about 10 years younger than her. Milano was raised in a conservative, religious family. Milano was first introduced to acting when she was seven years old. Babysitters took her along to an audition for her very first time. From more than 1,000 candidates they were selected as one of just four. Milano is featured in TV commercials, off Broadway productions and in the American debut of Jane Eyre.
